Hm, the Gunze H65 (RLM71) seems to be a bit too bright. Looks a lot like RLM02. I have too blend this ina slightly darker tone. The contrast is too heavy.
I knew this problem with the Gunze colors. But forgot it before starting wth paint.🙂

I like it!!! Even though 1:72 is small, your work makes it look like a larger scale!

Thank you very much mates👍 your nice comments are much appreciated. I tried to simulate the slightly frosted already melting
Morning frost effect on the surfaces!
A bit like sugar coat😉

I simply used the normally unwanted blooming effect of Vallejos ultra flat Varnish, when you use it too thick.
I treated the areas where it suppose to look like fine snowy frost with slightly solved toothpaste that includes abrasive particles. It does not damage the color but withstands the matt Varnish from assimilating an covering it completely. So I achieved this crackin sugar coat effect.
I would not recommend this for water based colors like Vallejo or Revell. I assume that those woul be affected by the toothpaste treatment.
