M1025 Humvee in 1/35, 1/48 and 1/72

I love to build armor but I find 1/35 to big based on shelf space and 1/72 to small to build. I think I found my answer in 1/48 its detailed like 1/35 but takes up less space. I decided to build an M1025 Humvee in all three scales to demonstrate to myself if my intuition was correct. The 1/35 and 1/48 kits were both Tamiya and are almost identical with some minor simplifications on the smaller scale. The 1/72 was a Dargon kit which despite its size was also well detailed but I bit fiddly to assemble. I also experimented with paint options, using Tamiya rattle cans for the 1/35 version using silly putty as a mask, The smaller versions were base coated with AK Nato Green and then the NATO brown and black were applied freehand using POSCA paint markers. I was satisfied with the results on all three models. Please note none of the models were weathered to keep the comparisons equal.
Although their is a limited selection of 1/48 kits I think I have found my sweet spot. I like the details of the 1/48 M1025, and it's smaller footprint on the shelf,
