Upholstery made of 1,2 mm thick plastic. Structure "modeled" via welding the surface with plastic welder 

Auxiliary fuel tank used by most SAR machines (Ureol sanded in shape). 

 

 

 

 

Ureol, middle hard. After sandig 2 x bath in Future for sealing the surface.

Corrected masking. A coat of Filler (Mr Surfacer 1000) coming soon.  

1. step: filled old step with Mr. Surfacer 500. 

2. Step: new rim airbrushed with Mr. Surfacer 1500. In all I spent about 2 hours to fix the problem and now the Dornier build UH-1D has correct lower windows.

This is a 3D decal by DF Helostuff for representing the typical UH-1 - anti skid coating. Excellent printed and easy to applying.  

 

 

 

Decals made by DF HeloStuff in place. In combination with my favorite product Mr Setter 232 the carrier film is completely unvisible.  

 

 

 

Gloss, semigloss or matt surface: it does not matter for Mr Setter 232. 

 

Removed air scopes (don’t present on BW machines) 

Corrected supporting arms for the landing skis made of 1,5 mm brass tube (too thick in the kit). Bending jig by DF HeloStuff 

 

 

 

Doors inner side completed and ready for masking and airbrushing light grey.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rotorhead completed (about 100 additional parts).
