The B5N2 kate with S/N 2194 belonged to the 931 Kukotai. And it was based on Saipan, Aslito airfield. it was part of a general combined escort force wich consisted of
KEA (Mavis & Emily of the 801 & 901 KU)
KEB (Kate of the 931 KU)
KEC (Jake of the 453 KU)

I'm using the Border model for this project because of the 35th scale it's in. that's ideal for using it with a 20 Ton fladbed trailer i have aquired from PSP. I'm going to make it on the fladbed as shown on images largly know on the internet, plus a US photographer from AK. making the scene as exact when that famous picture is taken.
