In the FEW grainy shots I could find of that car, it looks like a one piece nose with different headlights - not different enough to worry about - and there are NO visible seam lines for the bonnet and no pins, as there was nothing to secure. Also, assuming you are building the Ikuzawa car, it had no naca ducts next to the headlights.

@bossy122 - Thank you for your kind explanation and I also learned the term NACA duct for the first time. However, the car I'm trying to make is not Ikuzawa's car, I don't know exactly which car it is, I just know it's car #26 from the slot car merchandise.
@George Williams - I agree. 😉

Very nice progress, what programs do you use for creating custom masks and decals? Looks so effortless on your part. A skill I'd like to learn 👍

I'm using Affinity's Designer & Studio. These tools are easy and light, powerful.
Above all, it is cheap and has no dirty policies like monthly subscriptions.
The downside is that it does not support the *.ai and *.cdr format, so you will need to transfer it to a format such as PDF, ESP, DWG, or SVG.

@Alexander, if you want to play with vector graphics, Inkscape is not cheap, it is just free. works in Linux (and also windows). works like a charm. you can even scan decals and convert to vectors with it.

I'm with Spanjaard on this one. Inkscape gets my vote, too. It's a wonderful piece of software...especially for the price! 😉

Funny that you mention the AK markers, my flat black apperas glossy after application for some reason...

@Alexander - This is an "MSM Creation" product, and I know Hobby Design also offers epoxy emblem decals.
Search for "MSMA033 European car emblem stickers."
For reference, I purchased it from the seller listed below: detailshop.co.kr/us/..p?goodsNo=1000080680

It's abnormally clean for today's standard. Almost no advertising.
Weird to look at.
But a stunning end result

Excellent work on your pin lines and the decals look very sharp, well done.

Very neat work, I just wish Meng would make a 917 in 1/12 and 1/24 like their GT40.

Great as always. And the explanation with each picture makes your albums like a "how-to-book".
- What is the multisurfacer you mentioned in picture #31?
- The stuff you're using in picture #7 is it the same as Green Stuff World Is producing? Silicone Mold - BRICKS (Green Stuff World 8436554369065, No)

@Yngve N - #7 is the Silicone Putty(It's not a pre-made mold.)

The multi-surfacer is a product that can be used on various materials (PS, ABS, PE, metal, resin, etc.) with a single surfacer.
This surfacer has a similar concept to Gaianots' multi-primer. The product I used is from a Korean paint company called 'More Modeling(or MOMODELING)'. I'm not sure if it's available overseas, but I understand there are similar products available in China too.

Bookmarked. Your photos will likely be very helpful when or if I tackle the Martini boxing.
