Acerca de:: You’re invited to one of the best known and longest running
scale model contests in the Greater Toronto area!

The Ajax Scale Model Contest is an annual event, held every October to support the Culinary Arts Program
of J. Clarke Richardson Collegiate. The show is organized by Bernie Hengst, in conjunction with three
Greater Toronto scale model clubs: IPMS Toronto, Peel Scale Modelers and IPMS DeHavilland.

Since 1980, the Ajax Scale Model Contest has continued to grow, enjoying immense popularity in the modelling community and among the general public. With hundreds of quality models on display, many vendors including retailers, distributors and individuals, excellent lunch buffet, numerous awards and great atmosphere, the Ajax Scale Model Contest ranks as the largest of its kind in the Greater Toronto area.

The size and diversity of the show attracts many visitors from the Toronto area, eastern and western
Ontario, Quebec, as well as the north eastern United States, including New York, Pennsylvania,
Ohio and Michigan.

Last year, more than 500 models were on display,
30 model clubs were represented and visitor numbers topped 700!

The Ajax Scale Model Contest features 8 Theme Awards, 19 ‘Best Of’ Awards and 92 Categories, including Aerospace, Military Vehicles, Automotive, Ships, Figures, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Miscellaneous, Intermediate and Junior.
These awards are all sponsored by model clubs, retailers, manufacturers, distributors and individuals.
