I recommend to use wire for installing of the stuff on the bottom.So you can align everything better and it becomes more durable. In my opinion is self adhesive aluminum foil the better choice for the seating (instead of PE). 

You can see the wire pieces for installing of that U- shaped parts. 

 

 

 

I was to fast with the painting. The aft area was in the most cases not IG but dark grey. The cabin and cockpit was in the most cases light gray.

Result after about 3 hours of work. The fit is 4/5 but with a bit effort you can glue it without gaps and offset. Only on the lower side I hat to use a little piece of thin plastic.  

 

 

Unfortunately all precut masks were in my kit too small (Shrunk). Because of that I had to made new ones of Tamiya tape.  

Faded dayglo on top and fresh dayglo vor the tail in place. Masked for engine grey (60% H123 and 40% H181).  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Blades ready minus metallic leading edges.  

 

Note the different shininess of the dark grey (created with cotton swab corresponding with the motion direction). In my opinion a must have to preventing the “looks like toy” effect.
