And now for something completely different...

 

Parts are moulded either in dark gray or in bright orange. I have decided to add some more colour. There are no safety belts in the kit so I found the acceptable ones (these were also readily available at my LHS 😉). And I was not able to resist the colour I painted the rims - originally they were gray. 

Started installing the safety belts and painting minor bits. PE always is my Achilles' heel but I will try to do my best here 😉

I decided to give this car a bit less aggresive character by removing all spikes.

I do not know what these cylindrical thingies are supposed to be (smoke grenades?), but decided to install them just to fill these voids. 

Only decals to be applied and rear mirrors and "door" left to be installed  

I call her finished. Waiting for her girl-driver... 

 

 

Be careful when separating the translucent (definitely not transparent 😉) parts from sprue - they tend to delaminate a bit...
