Roland Sachsenhofer AuteurAirfix has included some really nice parts in the box here – assembling it is a joy. The same applies here as with the Albion fueller: here you can see the first, still quite dusty and not yet cleaned up bare frame.

A few steps further here too: well, the shiny surfaces make the whole thing look a bit strange, I hope that impression goes away!

This small truck project has now been completed, and what was originally intended to be a simple undertaking has turned into an enjoyable yet ambitious project. This is partly due to the high quality of this great Airfix kit, and partly because I added the helpful detail set from Hauler. For example, the side windows were made entirely from photo-etched frames and clear film (which is very close to the original), and the same was done with the two-piece windshield.
Motivated by this, the build turned out to be entertaining and quite satisfying. I hope you like the result.
From now on, the truck will regularly appear as an extra in photos of aircraft models!
