The 3D printed body. Not exactly the size of the chassis so I had to cut off edges of the chassis

I've learned how to use scribing tools and saw so I managed to cut off the hood better than I did with the doors on the Civic I paused.

The hood on the 3D printed body is too small to fit the engine I want to add, so I will use the front from the original kit

Engine still a little too big so I cut of a couple of millimeters. It won't start anyway... 😉

Dad's car was an automatic so I got rid of the clutch pedal and made the break pedal bigger

Started making inside walls with a combination of styrene sheet and parts from the original kit and also from an USCP interior kit

I found the right colour for the car from AK Interactive so I tried their primer with airbrush on several parts. Did not work out very good...
And then came the coldest winter ever so a second try will need to wait

I finally started this Volvo. Probably too early for my very limited skills but if I fail big time I can always try again later? I wanted to start painting after Christmas but it's so freeking cold here this winter so it has to wait....

Glad to see this project underway. I really enjoyed trying things I wasn't sure how to do on my Volvo project so I hope you have as much fun with this one.
