1990 Mustang LX 5.0 Widebody - WIP

Lets get started with a long long "in the box stored" project.
My Foxbody-widebody Mustang. Thanks to my Brother, i grabbed this long on the wishlist placed project.
Parts are all from Blackboxstl, bought, not self printed. Not yet.
I glued all bodyparts in place . Only some work on the right fender (innerside) all parts sat very nice.
After taht, i sanded the body , fillered it and gave it the first layer of white paint .
In the meantime decals are ordered and waiting for arriving.

Next step was filler on the other body parts and painted black semigloss. so they will be 😉

in the meantime i've completed the Engine and most of interior and chassis.
I'm not at the end with my thoughts about an bigger engine. so then...

Decals are delivered and i'm exited about the handling with them on the bodykit.

Looong time went by...

in the meantime the Renaissance Decals had arrived and i had to repaint the Mustang. Off course it has to be black, but other parts will be white, other parts had to be green etc.

I'm missing pictures from the stages. sorry for that.
I choosed Ken Blocks 2010 Monter energy Ford Focus as template. it is a challenge, to get the Design from a sleek body to this wild body. The Decals are cracking and "terrible" to work with. Crack didn't metter, from beginning told it will not be a show and shine car - it will be driven hard.

So here we are. First Decals are on, but not all complete.

Good process! Definitely no an easy task to adopt a set of decals to a totally different body.
