1/48 R/M CF-104 Starfighter EBay Rescue 2

Kit I got is complete, along with the decal sheet. Was actually built fairly well. 

The decals came off very easily. My story will be that 417 Squadron toyed with the idea of bringing back the recce role! ;-D 

Some light wet sanding should prep it for a coat of aluminum. 

Wasn't as successful as I thought I would be getting the cockpit decals in but oh well. Bang Seat primed. 

Starting to paint the ejection seat. 

Got some ersatz webbing on.  

There is supposed to be a 'Manual Override Handle' on each side of the Martin Baker ejection seat but I lost one. 

So a spare Kinetic Starfighter burner nozzle fits real nice and looks much better to boot!
