- OmaCon 2026, hosted by the International Plastic Modelers' Society, Fort Crook Chapter, will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 9 AM to 4 PM at Hope Presbyterian Church, 5220 S 159th Ave, Omaha, NE 68135 (new location this year).
Doors open at 9 AM and contest registration runs until Noon. The show will conclude with an awards presentation starting at 3 PM. General admission is FREE!
The contest will have over 30 categories covering aircraft, military vehicles, cars, sci-fi and more! We are also introducing a new award for best gunpla/mecha model. This year’s theme is “Need for Speed”: show off your models of record breakers, fast flyers, rapid racers, and swift ships as we celebrate the never-ending quest for speed! Special Award for the best theme model entered in the contest.
Contest entry fee (including unlimited models) is $15.00 for adults and free for juniors (17 and under).
OmaCon will also feature a FREE make & take station for kids to build their first model kit, an expanded vendor’s area full of deals, and our famous Fort Crook raffle with lots of great modeling prizes!
