1October 8, 2019Everything ready, let's give it a go, shall we?
2October 8, 2019One thing I did not mention is, that I decidet to replace the kit shallow "engine" with quickboost resin casting. Much more detailed and nicer
3October 8, 2019Some adjustement was required to fit the casting in the fuselage halves
4October 8, 2019quite a nice fit
5October 8, 2019To prevent the engine to slide inside the fuselage, plastic sheet glued in place to stop the unwanted movement
6October 8, 2019all parts ready for further painting and detailing (engine still need some love 🙂 )
7October 8, 2019Instrument panel sanded flat, painted white and then the thin foil was glued with the cover PE part (after spryaing it with tamyia XF-85 rubber black). Everything is glued together with PVA glue

Album info
Another small 72 mojo build, just for fun.
The PE set is not correct for F4U-5 version (it should be for F4U-4). I know this and since I did not find the correct set for it, it will have to do. I'm not planning to use everything from the set anyway.)
And therefore do not expect " the right" look of the cockpit. 🙂
One other thing will be used - resin engine replacement.
