released the 3d printed landing gears from their carriers and these look great. It is my first part from Temp Models but this looks great!

replaced the kit nose with Quick Boost´s resin nose which included the visible interior of the laser range finder

added 40 gramms weight into the interior according to kit instructions to avoid a tail sitter

Rocket pods, extra fuel container and KAB-bomb are just fixed with Patafix for the picture. These will be removed until everything is painted later

Very difficult to handle now - lots of fiddly parts which will break off easily

Applied the eduard raised rivets decals. This was the first time I did used them at all. They need very less time to get released from the carrier paper and you will not have too much time to align them properly as they also begin to stick to the surface very quickly. But in the end I expect they will look nicely once overpainted with primer

The topside decals had to be cut out as the SM3 variant have additional flare dispenser above the upper surfaces above the engines. A bit of measuring and everything worked well here

KAB-500 laser guided bombs finished. The decals provided were sticking to the cover paper and so were most decals unusable. I asked Quickboost for help and they sended me another decal set. This was also sticking a bit to the cover paper but not too much so I could use these decals even if they disintegrated quickly...

The decals of these rocket launchers were also of no great quality. I assume these were overstoraged and also tend to disintegrate quickly or/and silvering

Primed the finished aircraft with black Mr. Finishing Surfaceer 1500 and spraypainted the underside with Vallejo 71.306 Sky Blue out of Vallejo´s nice Su-25 Frogfoot set out of their Air War color series

I planned to represent this specific machine of this technical information leaflet about the technical improvements of the SM3 Super Rook over the former Su-25. Just the green green color at the frontal edge of the rear fin has still to be done

Finally finished this somehow ugly and beautiful aircraft today. Just the small green stripe of the frontal edge of the rear fin has to be done and the bracket for the open canopy has to be fixed then I can load the pylons with ammo. The build and painting was demanding but no mentionable problems occured during these phases. I really like the outcome of my efforts and especially the visible new Solt-25 laser rangefinder / Target designator at the nose😅🖐️
