Work has begun on transplanting panels (I know, from PF, but it's better than nothing...) + seats from Eduard.
The seats from the Sabre kit are something reminiscent of KM-1 so not that type at all...
The boards will stay with Sabre (+ maybe some detail, because they also differ from the F-13...) 

I'm starting to push it into place - I sanded the space under the side panels - I think the decals will go, because it's tight)

Cockpit finished and closed. I replaced the covers over the seats and, more importantly, removed the armoured glass from the PF version and made a kit resembling that of the U version.
Covers glued together, sanded with sandpaper and polished with Tamiya paste. It looks better than straight out of the box 🙂 

I'll try to scratch A-12,7 gun pod based on few pfotos which I found on the Internet. 

Cockpit opened again... I received info that in U version there were no covers over seats. 

Fitting back of the plane and first version of canopy masks. 

New selfmade nozzles and filled nozzle housing. 

The hump from the Sabre kit comes from the school's MiG-21 later versions. It is necessary to fill in the existing and carve new lines. 

The brakes on the MiG-21 training models were different from those of the combat MiGs. Again, puttying and carving new lines is necessary.

Differences in colour are very delicate 

The armament: A 12.7 cannon and P-50 practice bombs 

New cone (3D printed) with two different angles, wheels and bombs during repainting (I received a lot of photos showed that bombs were gray not green) 

Bomb from ResKit it's a P-50T... I had to design and print P-50 🙂 

Stencils... 2/3 after me 🙂  

(Almost) all decals in place (window seals still before me). Now gloss, wash, semi-gloss, unmasking, window seals and... finish (?)
