This is another specialized vehicle that promises a lot of visual interest. So far, I am impressed by the design and assembly

I like your organized approach to what could be a confusing set of steps. I have a tendency to plow ahead and miss small things that could mean big problems 🙄😬😂

Thank you Paul. It is more to keep myself on track as well 🙂

Assembly continuous. My only complain thus far is that there is no sprue map in the instructions. It is not a show stopper, but would have been nice.

Ya I see the instructions show what looks like the lifting points going on the rear of the upper hull. It's not like Tamiya to make mistakes in the instruction book.

Paul, thank you for your input. Entirely my fault. It will not be an issue if you grue the top of the hull to the lower hull at this stage.

No I actually think your placement is correct. I think the instructions picture is misleading

Only fitting the chains remain and the rollers will be completed.

For the most, the work on the rollers have been completed. The roller attachments went together without a problem.

The mine rollers have been completed. I am impressed with the attachment mechanisms design. Starting now on the turret.

A small update. My first attempt at painting a camouflage scheme.

Completed the camouflage scheme on the lower hull, detail painting and painting the tracks. I am happy with the outcome so far.
Next, marrying the lower hull to the upper hull.

Starting to look the part. Quite happy how the camouflage came out.

Well done!!! I appreciate that kind of work! You have made it to the point where the weathering will have a very nice canvas to be applied to! Cheers!!!

The camo scheme has been applied to the turret and smaller parts were also glued to the turret. On to the mine rollers!

A small update. Decals applied to depict a vehicle from the Hokkaido 7th Division, 71st Tank Regiment, 5th Company.

Thank you gentlemen for your kind comments.
@Ben M, accomplished by using a toothpick as an applicator. The choice of colours are close to what is recommended.
The project has been staled temporarily because I have compressor problems.

Work on the mine roller and crew is moving along albeit at a slow pace.

Mine roller attached to the tank and the varnish left to dry before weathering will commence.

🙂 Jennifer, Thank you for your kind words. I started my stash back in 1991 and only recently started building again.
3 27 February, 05:35
The extra work you put into this kit really shows! I love the detailing and final result! ❤️❤️❤️

Ready now to start weathering and make a simple diorama base.
3 24 March, 17:58
Slowly working towards the finishing line. Some chipping and grime is next.

Thank you Mr D, much appreciated. I have been "planting" grass in the background on the diorama for two weeks as well 🙂

Thank you Jennifer. Much appreciated.
I hope that have recovered from your injury and near to being fighting fit again.
