Land Rover Series 1 Slot car

I'll start with the size of the wheels. There have always been pitfalls there. 

First version of the chassis. 

The motor is from SCX Compact. 

The beginning of cutting 

Something like that is expected. 

The driver is not painted. Good thing he has nerves of steel. Or are they plastic? 

Second version of the chassis. 

I managed to fit it. But I'll have to redo it. 

As always I am not satisfied with the initial set. Or maybe I just overestimated my abilities as a modeler again. 

Plan B. If things don't work out I came across these blueprints. I'll use them if necessary. 

You see beautiful things when you travel around Europe. I saw the drawing at Center Rog in Ljubljana. I really liked this center. Besides a library, they have workshops for many things from clay, painting, photography and 3D printing. 

Another version of the chassis. I'm getting better and better. I design with Free Cad and Tinkencad. 

The hairstyle should be very nice after the hairspray. In our house, I'm the only one who "sprays my hair". Let me tell you, I've tried several "chemicals" for the effect of peeling paint. Hairspray seems to work best. 

New shortened rear end. I played around with its placement a bit, but better next time. 

I have a "load". 

I have no idea what kind of person you have to be to buy a light blue Land Rover 1 Series. 

I like the old look the way it turned out. 

I'm liking this design more and more.
