I just wanted to build something out of the box as depicted by the kit maker. I found this M48 in my stash and thought it would be a good subject for this build. I built it straight out of the box I used Vallejo Air for the olive drab basecoat and various shades of Vallejo Air greens for the figures and equipment. I used Flory Brown to weather the tank, followed by dry brushing with Vallejo air light grey. I then mixed Flory rust and sand for the final wet wheather coat to simulate the clay and soil of Vietnam, followed by a light driy coat of Vallejo powder of sand and light earth pigments
