Kaum mit der fantastischen S-61 fertig kommt der nächste Sikorsky. Sehr geile Vorbildauswahl!!! Ich bin gespannt 🪑🍿

I am very happy that you are all so numerous!😀 I've tried some new ideas so far. For example, I drew the flat screens with the white buttons on the edge in the Visio, printed them out using a laser printer and glued the paper with superglue on 0.4 mm thick plastic. Then cut to size with a sharp scalpel. The effect is really amazing.😀

That cockpit is stunning. The level of detail you are going to is fun to watch. Following.

Thank you all for the nice comments. Now the two front seats are also installed and thus the living room is furnished. 😀 Tomorrow we will continue with the fuselage.

The interior is now finished, so I can deal with the outer cell. Yesterday I finished the fuselage sides and the bottom: filled and sanded the seam, as well as restored panel lines and raised rivets.😀

I already thought that there would be a question on this topic. 😀
For engraving I use a short steel needle from an old compass. I cut them with a diamond disc at the end to a pointed pyramid. With this needle I press into the plastic. A small mountain with a depression comes out. I pasted the depression with polishing paste (polishing compound) from Tamiya. By the strength of the pressure you can influence the size of the rivets.

Seems to be an alternative to solder balls.
How do they say it in Bavaria? You're such a dog! (A 'dog' in Bavaria is someone who displays such cunning that it is almost admirable.)

Today I checked the fit of the landing gear. Thanks to the wire and the assembly principle, which I came up with, I was able to compensate for some inaccuracies.
I'm satisfied with the fit and result. 🙂

Masking the front half of the fuselage for painting took almost 2 hours yesterday. The painting and removal of the masks, on the other hand, only half an hour.
Then came the hour of truth: how well did I protect the cockpit from the airbrushing dust?

Looking at your pictures, one sometimes forgets that it's a model they are looking at…

After a short break, I'm back online. Today I finished the MRH. The blades are from the kit, slightly modified and combined with a 3-D printed MRH by Metallic Details. The quality is excellent, as is the design or division into individual parts. F.E. the pitch links are not glued at all only clicked in.

Yesterday I attached the last small parts to the fuselage without bad luck and breakdowns.
At this point I would like to express many thanks to my Special helo Task Force: to Thomas for the tank and the searchlight, to Carsten for the „hump on the back" and David for his excellent decals.
Without the help of the three mates the project would not have been possible. 😃

Ein echt fantastisches Modell der Black Hawk hast Du da hingestellt. Und gut, wenn man so gute und nette Zulieferer hat.

It was expected to be excellent, but then again the level of craftmanship and detail leaves one flabbergasted nevertheless.

What a beautiful result of a civil S-70 👍 Who can expect a model of this special helicopter? And your craftsmanship is beyond reproach anyway!

This is simply a masterpiece, Bernhard! It is beyond my ability to imagine how to achieve such cleanliness and precision of construction! Hats off! 👏👏👏

Thank you very much for the great comments. Every model maker likes to hear that.😃.

Usually with models the close-ups betray the fact that they are definitely models. With this, the closer you see it the more real it looks. 😮

Gorby & Desert Marlin:
You can't get a better compliment! Thank you! It is indeed one of my „main goals" to photograph the models in such a way that you cannot recognise at first glance that it is a model. And what you have written, „literally puts the cream" on the whole thing. 😀

The civil livery really brings out this bird's beauty ! Saw it „live" today - what a stunning piece of modeling mastery and extraordinary skill ! 🤩
