MS K is building a trailer? That must mean that there is also a truck coming? I'm watching!

These things don't stay glossy for too long and dirty relatively quick.
They do look nice when stacked maps.app.goo.gl/3XyACDsQmQtHYETS9

That's cool. But, I don't know how to weather, and I don't have the paints or tools to do so.
And I like realistic things, but I prefer things that look like CG.

😄 Sorry. But I have to write it: I'm missing the brake lines, pipes, valves and so on *giggling*

Nothing wrong with swearing like a sailor. It comes as part of the course!
Try and AMT kit and you'll broaden your vocabulary even more 🙂

I think Italeri kits should come with a "How to swear in Italian" leaflet.
I also think everyone on here has had it happen to them, dropping something, or just gripping too firmly and something breaks, I know I have anyway.

I learned from a 1:350 ship project to always strengthen the seam with large parts, because if you hold the ship hull too tightly at the seam join, it might break in some odd circumstances where the seam parts is molded thin and weirdly. The same seam cracked open twice and I couldn't really fix it from the inside with so many parts already added to the ship model.

Ah, now that I think about it, it seems like it would have been much sturdier and wouldn't have split if I had done that.
I will definitely reinforce it next time. Thanks for the useful advice. ๐Ÿ‘

On lengths like these, I usually glue a strip of the sprue to the back of the piece. There is lots of that in each kit. Similar to glueing a rod in the back of the groove.
You nailed another kit MS K. It is a joy to watch your masterpieces

In picture 34, you have painted the parts at the front of the trailer silver. Those are the connections for the airlines and the electrics, that go to the truck. You can coil up some wire and make it look more realistic? They actually make the connections, in aftermarket. I'm sure that you can make something similar?

Oh, You late Bozzer. 😉
Thanks for the detailed advice, but by my standards, it was already a failure once the side of the tank split open, so I don't want to put any more effort into it. ๐Ÿ˜ž

Don't give up, MS! The struggle never ends, just the challenges get easier. Next time, you'll know what to do, to avoid such mishaps. This is not a failure, it's gained knowledge 😉
