enigine next to the original...hub still needs chipping/dry brushing and wash to make it dirty 

A first for me....removing cockpit detail and replacing with resin parts...man was I afraid to make a hole in the side of the plane! but it worked out fine thanks to a sharp blade! 😄 

Did I mention I'm a slow builder? 😉 Parts ready for wash and detail painting. Both colors mixed from Vallejo Model Air Pale Green, not an exact match but will change under washes anyway 

 

Finally some progress, still need to do some sanding 

forgot take pics of the cockpit 🙁 

tried to weather the wing by oversprayed with intermediate blue mixed with light...still too subtle 

same story for the other side 

The markings I chose for this build...flown by a Dutch pilot in the FAA 

couldn't resist a mock up before starting to paint

Sprayed exhaust stains with panzer aces track primer oversprayed with pale gray. Added fuel tank..and lots of chipping
