By the way, whe engine doesn´t fit in the cowling. I have to grind the inner cowling and some of the radial engine.

Colouring of the cylinder heads are more brighter. I hope they will be more visible.

OOB the antenna have to glue at the right hull. So as i not to break off, i modifiy the fastening. Now i can glue the antenna in the hull at one of the last work steps.

Glue on the elevators to the fuselage. Unfortunately I only noticed afterwards a mistake of the kit. The left and right elevators are not on the same level.

I have to repair the paintwork in the landing gear bay because some glue came out the gap between the wings and fuselage.

New accessories for my P-47M: The 200 gal. flat "belly" drop tank comes from CMK.
One of them i will assemble to the centerline pylon because according to my books and records the "M"-Version usually had been equipped with this 200gal. tanks.

When comparing pictures in the inet with the cover photo and the instruction i found some mistakes.

The fin on back looks on the photos like black not aluminum as shown on the cover photo. The instruction demands complete black. Reference: worldwarphotos.info/..-56th-fighter-group/
