And just like that she's back!
This time she's earning her keep!

After the Vulcan To The Skies Trust failed to secure funding for a permanent home undercover at Doncaster Sheffield Airport for XH558, VTTS out of desperation to keep her in top condition reached out to HHrAviation to try and save her in anyway!
6 weeks later HHrAviation in partnership with the Royal Air Force took ownership of VTTS and all their assets and moved everything over to HHrA Cottesmore.

XH558 will now be based back at former RAF now HHrA Cottesmore with her HHrAviation sisters but for now she has been flown from Doncaster Sheffield Airport to RAF Fairford to be parked in the B-2 Spirit Hangers along with ZH102 & XV249 for further work to prepare her for her future life as a B.2k Tanker.
She will have other roles to play too, Heavy Bomber Simulator to train the RAF's future QRA pilots as an example.

Updates:
HHrA have returned 558's ability to have the Vulcans original underwing Pylons fitted.

After HHrAviation took over XH558's care @ Airbus Military agreed to support her once again!
To celebrate the deal HHrA have added "AIRBUS" titles to the right hand gear door and "@ MILITARY" to the left hand gear door.

One further update:
During one of many Inventory culls that the RAF Museum seem to love doing they reached out to HHrAviation to see if there was any interest in any of their surplus items.
Many many items were donated but a couple that are of big interest were 2 items for the Avro Vulcan.
HHrAviation took the decision to fit XH558 with an under-tail mounted Air-To-Air Refueling system to compliment her 2 underwing mounted A2A Refueling pods.
She can now refuel up to 3 aircraft at a time!

Next planned upgrades:
HHrAviation are in the process of acquiring a very large stock of Olympus 202 Engines that were found in Rolls Royce's many many storage facilities.
To fit these a complete upgrade of 558's fuel systems, stronger engine mounts and bigger engine nozzles which were donated to us by the Midland RAF Museum in Cosford, Shropshire.
