Konrad YazarNot really. The most important thing is to set the BACK edges of the wings vertically above each other. Without it, the tail braces won't fit (I know because I glued everything together twice...)

The thicker one is fishing line 0.13 mm +/- (it was supposed to be stretchy but it is stiff 🙁 ). Thinner (steering) is Uschi 0.05 mm

SkyhikerHmmm fishing line is disappointing. I was hoping you had a way of getting heavier elastic in Europe. I'm sure there is some out there somewhere. I just don't know what industry to look for other than models.

I have few "heavier and elastic" but it turns out after even a slight stretch that these are tapes and not round cords (and they're white / light rather than black / dark)
