Parts in the box 

A lot of parts of good quality 

I bought the kit second hand , unfortunately some parts for the cockpit were missing, so I had to make a replacement with plastic card. I pre-assembled the nose wheel gear and the engines 

I decided not to use the inner parts, as almost nothing can be seen once the fuselage is closed, only the floor plate is used to strengthen the fuselage. I glued used AA batteries in the front to have adequate weight there. 

I decided to paint the fuselage halves before assembly, instead of having to mask all the windows. First the upper part in white with several thin layers (with one day drying each) of Tamiya white from the spray can 

some more corrections with putty need at the nose, just a view of the cockpit before it disappears behind the windows 

The upper part is masked off 

masks removed , some (Vallejo) putty needed for the seem at the underside 

Underside painted in the same way, but this time with Revell alu  

squeezing the uper and lower wing together 

The wings were also painted with Revell alu from the spray can (in thin layers) 

fuselage halves joined, and upper seam corrected 

Engines atteched to the wings 

Washing the wings with Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color , excess removed with cotton swabs with some terpentine 

The separation between white and alu has to be corrected a little bit 

Decal sheet ready 

Decals applied, only at the nose some corrections were needed (and a reprint of the decal sheet)
