Soviet MiG-110 'Spectre'

The parts from the vintage Revell 'Blue Angels' boxing 

The decals I am considering using. 

Soviet missiles for that distinctive Eastern Bloc flavour! 😉  

Starting to get the fuselage buttoned up. Going to have to put a tarp or something over the canopy - the clear part was busted up into about 4 pieces! 

A bit of reinforcement for the fuselage. These old Revell kits were notorious for warping as they got older! 

Managed to get the wings together and the inside parts ground down so the fuselage would fit. Totally my screw-up - I should know better than to trust those alignment pins on these ancient Revell kits!! 

It may be for just a fun 'What-If' Group Build but it would have drove me nuts to put it together Out of the Box with the open Nose Wheel Well like that!! LOL

With the original molds from 1965 I guess I cannot complain too much! 

Woot! Woot! Finally got some primer on this build. Woke up to a nice, no-wind day and thought I had better get my butt movin' an' take advantage. We don't get too many no-wind days in these parts! LOL Used Krylon 2'n1. 

Taking care of the worst of the gaps with strip styrene and recycled plastic card stock. 

Since the one-piece canopy was busted up I was just going to glue what was left and put a tarp over it. I found an extra Revell canopy so I will use that but I am replacing the pilots with slightly better ones, though they both had to have their feet amputated to fit onto the Revell lazy-boy seats! ????
